Point Clear is a small beachside community located in Baldwin County, Alabama, approximately five miles south of Fairhope and 25 miles southeast of Mobile. Point Clear is located just ten miles north of Weeks Bay, an estuary embayment situated between Mobile Bay and Bon Secour Bay that is a designated National Estuarine Research Reserve. The reserve is home to several endangered species that include the brown pelican, eastern indigo snake, and Alabama red-bellied turtle and offers excellent fishing for speckled trout, flounder, and redfish.
