Fairhope is located in Baldwin County, Alabama, approximately 20 miles southeast of Mobile and 50 miles west of Pensacola, Florida, The city is home to a population of more than 18,000 residents who enjoy the excellent schools, attractive neighborhoods, and friendly hometown atmosphere that makes it a great place to live.

Fairhope Municipal Park features an 8-lane indoor swimming pool and two outdoor pools, as well as a 19-hole disc golf course, tennis courts, athletic fields, picnic areas, and playgrounds.

Fairhope’s lively downtown district features a wealth of treasures within the eclectic collection of shops, boutiques, antique stores, and art galleries that fill its tree-lined streets. The city’s Municipal Pier & Park is a popular destination for walkers, runners, and late afternoon strollers. Situated at the western end of downtown, the park features picnic facilities, walking trails, a duck pond, marina, and quarter-mile concrete fishing pier that offers excellent fishing for redfish, mullet, and white trout.

Fairhope hosts dozens of festivals and special events each year, including the Grand Festival of Art, held each October at the Fairhope Campus of Faulkner Community College, and the Fairhope Film Festival, held each September at participating locations around the city.
